The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) is a statutory board operating under Singapore's Ministry of Digital Development and Information, tasked with spearheading the nation's digital transformation. Alongside its marketing communications strategy, we were commissioned to develop a brand identity for the Centre of Excellence (COE) that further extended into a range of branded items. This official launch constitutes a significant milestone in promoting a dynamic digital economy and cultivating an inclusive digital society within contemporary Singapore.
The identity for the COE was designed to embody interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. The utilisation of a diverse range of fonts within the logo reflects the dynamic spirit and wide-ranging perspectives that the COE brings together. The logotype, complemented by vibrant colours, projects a bold and modern aesthetic, symbolising progressive thinking and excellence. This fresh and dynamic design not only enhances the brand across multiple touchpoints—from branded merchandise to digital assets—but also reinforces the COE’s mission to drive research and impact across diverse domains, business units, and industries.
