Following the refreshed identity of Resorts World Sentosa and the launch of its newest retail destination, WEAVE, a bespoke typographic system was developed to support the destination’s architectural and communication ecosystem. The system comprises two complementary families — RWS Header and RWS Body — designed to perform across applications ranging from large-scale environmental graphics and wayfinding to editorial, digital, and operational communications.

RWS Header is a distinctive display serif characterised by sharp terminals, controlled contrast, and sculpted details that give the typeface a confident presence at large sizes. Customised letterforms introduce subtle character — most notably a diamond-shaped tittle on the lowercase i, a small gesture that echoes the sense of spectacle and wonder associated with the destination.
RWS Body is a contemporary sans serif designed not only for clarity, but to create a seamless sense of continuity across the Resorts World Sentosa experience. Its balanced proportions, open apertures, and subtle humanist details bring warmth and composure to signage, editorial, and digital communications, shaping a reading experience that feels intuitive, welcoming, and effortlessly cohesive.

Both families were developed as variable fonts with three core weights and six styles, forming a versatile typographic toolkit while stylistic alternates provide flexibility without compromising consistency. Together, RWS Header and RWS Body create a cohesive framework that anchors the brand across spatial, editorial, and digital environments.
